Post Game

The TeamRivalry pick wasn't too far off on this one, but Rutgers failed to generate even one score. Penn State stops their free fall with this game, but it might be too late to do anything about it other than get a bowl game. With the rumors of James Franklin possibly taking a job in the SEC, the bowl game might be a waste of time.

Pre Game

Rutgers has had a tough go this season. They've never cracked the top 25 and they're sitting at 5-5 coming in to this game. They've got two more chances to eek out one more win and be bowl eligible. Penn State, on the other hand, has been a one hill roller coaster this season. Starting at 19 in the AP, rising to 4 and then cascading back down to 23 and this week, folks, they aren't ranked in the AP, or the CFP. The Nittany Lions are bowl eligible, but Franklin needs a couple more wins for a new job and warmer weather.
