Michigan survived this game. They never really had the upper hand in the game even though they were a 35 point favorite. They didn't control the lead and in Akron's final drive Michigan let them get to the 1 yard line with 5 seconds left on the clock. Thanks to a bad pass by Akron, Michigan survived.
